Free Metro Transit Bus and LRT Service
Metro Transit is a proud sponsor of the City of Lakes Loppet. Ride Metro Transit buses or LRT to and from Loppet events from noon to 9pm on Saturday for free.

Uptown Area Parking
Uptown parking is available in:
- Commercial lots, including Calhoun Square parking lot
- Jefferson Elementary School lots – on Hennepin between 26th and 24th Streets. Two lots, enter from Hennepin or Emerson Aves.
- Metered and street parking away from Calhoun Square (note road closures)
- Lake Calhoun Executive Center at 3033 Excelsior Blvd. (and nearby streets) – Excelsior at Market Plaza/West Calhoun Blvd (~350 spaces)
- A shuttle bus will run from the Executive Center to Uptown (Lagoon and Hennepin) from 12:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Saturday and from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
- For those wanting to walk, proceed east along Lake Calhoun to refectory area and then under Lake Street to lagoon between Calhoun and Isles (about 1/2 mile)
- North Lake Calhoun beach lot – Walk east along Lake Calhoun to refectory area and then under Lake Street to lagoon between Calhoun and Isles (about 1/4 mile)
