Saturday Events – MOA Family Day
 SW Journal Snow Sculpture ContestSculpting: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Judging: 1:15 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. Teams of sculptors have 5 hours to turn a large block of snow into a work of art. |
 Loppet Kubb TournamentCheck-in: 10:00 a.m. Throwing Starts: 11:00 a.m. on Lake Calhoun Teams of 2-6 players compete in this Swedish lawn game in a 32 team Round Robin/Knockout tournament. |
 Penn Ice-Cycle LoppetHeats start: 12:00 p.m. Finals: 1:30 p.m. An exciting bike race on a short track of ice. |
 Surly Beer and Vendor Village 12:00 noon – 9:00 p.m. Visit for Surly Beer, outdoor and fitness vendors, and more. |
 Chuck & Don’s Skijoring Loppet and One Dog National Skijoring Championship Race Start: 1:30 p.m. Dogs pair up with their human skiers during this exciting race around Lake of the Isles with an Uptown finish. |
 Minnesota Youth Ski League SuperCarnival1:30 – 3:15 p.m. Ski games for children 12 and under, alongside the finish line in Uptown. |
 Rossignol Junior Loppet2:30 p.m. A 1.5k, 3.5k or 5k race around Lake of the Isles with an Uptown finish for anyone age 19 or younger. |
 Cook County Minne-Loppet3:30 p.m. A free and non-competitive event for kids ages 12 and under. All kids receive medals, cookies and hot cider. |
 Finn Sisu Sprints12:30 p.m. Preliminary heats. 4:30 p.m. finals. 2 minute heats in the heart of Uptown. Youth and open divisions. |
 Park Nicollet Luminary Loppet6:00 – 9:00 p.m. A beautiful night-time ski around Lake of the Isles, lit up with thousands of ice luminaries. |

 REI Tour 9:00 a.m. A 10k non-competitive ski tour starting at Theodore Wirth Park and finishing in Uptown. |
 Hoigaard’s Classic 9:20 a.m. A 25k classic/diagonal stride race starting at Theodore Wirth Park and finishing in Uptown. |
 City of Lakes Freestyle Loppet10:30 a.m. A 33k urban ski race starting at Theodore Wirth Park and finishing in Uptown. |
Chuck & Don’s Skijoring Loppet and Two Dog National Skijoring Championship Race Start: 1:00 p.m. Two-dog skijor teams at Theodore Wirth Park. |
