9:00 a.m.
Enjoy the beautiful urban wilderness while taking a short cut to the finish! The REI Tour is 10 kilometers, offering a shorter distance with the same grand finish in Uptown. Once you have completed it – watch the Freestyle and Classic Loppet skiers come rolling in! The tour is a non-competitive event, perfect for families and first time skiers!
The REI Tour start time is 9:00 a.m.
This change, implemented in 2011, reduces congestion between Tour and Classic skiers on the course.
Because of the earlier start time, Tour skiers should ensure that they are on time for their start since the stadium area will close for the start of the Classic race at 9:20 a.m.
The Tour will start next to the Par 3 Clubhouse.
To access the start area, proceed down the walking path from the parking lot next to the main Theodore Wirth Chalet and go towards the Par 3 Clubhouse. Look for the clothing bag drop near the stadium area.
