Race Start: 2:30 p.m.
This Junior Loppet event begins on the lagoon at Lake of the Isles and ends in Uptown.. There will be three course distances to challenge the older, middle, and youngest ages of the Junior Loppet participants. The courses loop around Lake of the Isles and finishes with the crowds awaiting them at the Finish Line. The race is open to anyone 19 and under.
Prize Categories
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each two-year age class:
- Older Juniors (OJ) – skier born between Jan. 1, 1992 and Dec. 31, 1993
- J1 – skiers born between Jan. 1, 1994 and Dec. 31, 1995
- J2 – skiers born between Jan. 1, 1996 and Dec. 31, 1997
- J3 – skiers born between Jan. 1, 1998 and Dec. 31, 1999
- J4 – skiers born between Jan. 1, 2000 and Dec. 31, 2001
- J5 – skiers born between Jan. 1, 2002 and Dec. 31, 2003
- Youth (skiers born after Dec. 31, 2003).
Youth skiers will race a 1.5km course. Skiers in J4 and J5 categories will race 3.5km, and skiers classed J3 and above will race the full 5km distance.

Packet Pickup
Participants can pickup their packets on Friday night from 6:00 to 9:00 at the Loppet Registration Center in Calhoun Square. On Saturday, packets for this event must be picked up at the Lake of the Isles Lagoon Registration Tent starting at 1:00 pm. The starting area for this event is on the lagoon on The Lake of the Isles.
There is no race day registration for the Rossignol Junior Loppet.
